Cooler Master is one the premier names in computer cases, and have developed a strong reputation for innovation and quality in their ATX and mATX offerings. Although they are obviously still going strong with those form factors, they are one of many manufacturers to begin offering cases to enthusiasts who have adopted the BTX form factor.
Cooler Master was kind enough to send over one of their new BTX cases for us to look over, the CM Media B260 mBTX model. As pictured above, the B260 is a sleek mBTX case with an aluminum front bezel and matching steel chassis. First impressions indicate that this would be a great choice for creating a BTX HTPC system, and a quote from Cooler Master tells you that they agree:
"If you are planning to build a HTPC, CM Media 260 is your best and only choice in the market!"
We might not be able to confirm that statement in this review, but the CM media B260 will be given a thorough inspection. Before jumping into that though, let's have a look at some of the published specifications and features, as taken from the Cooler Master website...

Packaging
Cooler Master has been shipping their cases in fairly non-descript, brown, cardboard boxes lately, and the one that protects the CM Media B260 is no different. You get a basic listing of features and specifications, but there are no images to help sell you on the product visually.
The packaging served its main function, and that was to get the case from coast to coast (from Cooler Master to me) unharmed. The case is suspended in a foam frame inside the cardboard box, and this was enough for it to arrive undamaged without an outer box.
